In
early 2005, 70 Rough Tooth dolphins stranded in the Florida
Keys. 2 of those dolphins were taken to the Marine Animal
Rescue Society's facility for rehabilitation. After providing
round the clock care and extensive medical tests to ensure their
health would allow them a second chance in the wild, 'Notch' &
'Naia' were released back to the wild and tracked to ensure their
movements were consistent with healthy populations of Rough Toothed
Dolphins.
